	The Only World-Class Race to Paddle Lake Michigan and the Shores of Chicago

			Leg I: Leone Beach to Pratt Pier All Marathon competitors will start at 10:00 AM from Leone Beach before proceeding southbound along the shore to buoy turn just off Pratt Pier. Sprint prize will be awarded to first finisher to reach this point.
			Leg II: Pratt Pier to Lloyd Beach Racers will proceed north from Pratt Pier and, after passing Leone Beach, will aim at the tip of Northwestern University campus. By taking such a course, competitors will distance themselves from the entrance to Evanston boat launches. Competitors will also pass by the Wilmette Harbor. Competitors need to be watchful and avoid any boats entering the lake from the aforementioned sources. It is the competitors’ responsibility to maintain a safe course while navigating this busy area. Racers will follow the shore to Lloyd Beach where they will complete a beach check-in. This beach is just south of Tower Road. The white tower will indicate this location.
			Leg III: Lloyd Beach to Leone Beach After checking in at Lloyd Beach, competitors will conclude the Marathon by following the shore south to Leone Beach. Competitors should be finishing the race between 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM.
